Dulcie is a Columbia Falls native who was born and raised in Northwestern Montana. She attended Columbia Falls High School before continuing her education first at Montana State University in Bozeman, and then obtaining her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in Missoula.
Her career began in Helena, MT where she worked as an outpatient physical therapist and then as Director of Rehabilitation in a skilled nursing facility. She returned home to the Flathead Valley in 2011 taking a position first as an Assistant Director of outpatient therapy at Immanuel Lutheran Skilled Care Center, and then transitioning into full time outpatient therapy.
In 2017 she decided to better serve her home town and the community of the Flathead Valley by branching off and opening Berube Physical Therapy.
Her experience includes neurological/stroke rehabilitation, total joint rehab, back and neck pain, joint therapy, aquatic therapy, and sports rehabilitation.
She lives in Columbia Falls with her family, where she is very active in the community!
Nick is a native of the Flathead valley and attended Columbia Falls High School, graduating in 2011. He attended University of Montana played basketball for 3 years. He then transferred to Lewis-Clark State College to finish his playing career and bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. He followed his DPT pursuit in Arizona attending Franklin Pierce University.
He and his wife Brooke quickly decided to move back to the place they call home. They love spending time with family and friends. Nick is very excited to be back and looks forward to days on the river, in the mountains, or on the golf course.
His love for athletics drove his curiosity of human performance and rehabilitation. He now strives to help patients get back to the things they love doing most.
Devyn is a Columbia Falls native and graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 2011. He attended Montana State University, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master's degree in Health Sciences. He then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in Austin, TX from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in August of 2021.
Devyn and his wife, Bria, are extremely excited about the opportunity to move back home so they can spend more time with family and friends. He enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it's on the water, hiking, playing golf, skiing, or ice fishing in the wintertime.
He has maintained a strong desire for athletics and human movement and wants to help patients reach their goals and enjoy this beautiful state
Elena has lived in the Flathead Valley since 2006, moving from her home state of Colorado. Elena has worked in the medical field since 2003. She is passionate about caring for others and making people feel good. She is a mother of two beautiful children and two fur babies. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Some of her hobbies include, crafting, reading and spending time in nature.
Mergenthaler was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana. She graduated from Glacier High School in 2017 where she was involved in the French program, theater, and speech and debate. She then attended FVCC where she graduated in 2022 with an AAS from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
Téa didn't always have her heart set on working in the medical field, but she had a consistent goal to improve the quality of life of those around her, and a career in the PT world offered just that. She knew immediately that she wanted to work in outpatient physical therapy after finding a love in working with the large variety of patient population, including those with chronic pain problems and high-level athletes.
Téa currently lives in Kalispell with her fiancé Chayse and together they share two dogs, two cats, and are expecting a daughter in spring of 2023. When she isn't working in the clinic, she enjoys hiking all the trails that the valley has to offer, camping with her family, and loves reading a good book. She is eager to give back to her home as much as it has given her throughout the years.
Kalani McLaughlin was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. After graduating high school in 2008, he attended The University of Montana Western on a Football Scholarship. He graduated with a BS in Health and Human Performance. After graduation from the University of Montana Western in 2013, he and his wife moved to the Flathead Valley where she began her teaching career and he began working as a Physical Therapy Tech. In 2017 Kalani graduated from Flathead Valley Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program and began his career as PT Assistant. Kalani has experience in both inpatient and outpatient PT settings and is the Clinic Director and Partner of Berube Physical Therapy (Kalispell). With a heavy sports background at the high school and collegiate level, both as a player and coach, Kalani finds treating functional strength interventions and orthopedic injuries some of his favorites to work with.
I have always wanted to be involved in the medical world and did not discover the world of physical therapy until my time playing collegiate football. I witnessed multiple teammates encounter season and at times life changing injuries, which gave me the drive to study physical therapy.

I now live in Kalispell, MT with my wife Molly, two Daughters- Harper and Sawyer and son, Bauman. We love to explore on random family trips and spend as much time outdoors during the warm weather season, and spend just as much time on the mountains in the winter.
Brittany Ballard is a Flathead native who graduated from Glacier High School in 2011. She then attended The University of Providence in Great Falls, MT, on a Fastpitch Softball Scholarship. She received her BA in Biology and graduated in 2015. She then decided to move cross country to attend Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, CT to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She graduated with her DPT degree in 2019 and moved back to Kalispell to be with her family.
Brittany is married to her high school sweetheart Boyce, who is active in the Glacier Wrestling Program, coaching as an assistant. They were blessed with their son Briggs in January 2022 and also have two fun loving furbaby labs Remy and Raider. Brittany and her family live for the Montana summers boating and swimming at the lake and hiking in the Jewel Basin. In the winter they are often seen cross country skiing and snowshoeing as often as they can.
Brittany's love for athletics has led her to treat primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting since graduation. She has had extensive training in functional dry needling and has a certification to administer the functional movement screen to assess risk of injury for patients returning to high level physical demands at work or in athletics. Brittany has also taken continuing education in the realm of Women's Health and Wellness, is a certified BIRTHFIT! Leader, and has taken several courses through Herman and Wallace to treat pelvic floor conditions. Her passion is to help women during the prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal phases so they are able to stay strong, confident, educated, and empowered by the birthing process. Brittany's love for people and connection is the driving force behind her treatment style and she strives to build a therapeutic alliance with her clients to optimize their results in the clinic and help them reach their goals outside the clinic
Michael is a Missoula native. He attended Sentinel High school in Missoula, where his time in physical therapy for multiple sports injuries inspired him to help and treat patients, himself. After graduating from Athletic Training school at The University of Montana, he attended the Physical Therapy program there and received his doctorate. He practiced for two years in Missoula before moving to the Flathead, in 2012.
In Kalispell, he met his wife Rachel, where they got married in 2014. They've enjoyed many adventures in and out of Montana. Their newest adventure is raising their son Weldon. As a family, they enjoy being outside, rafting, walking/hiking, gardening, playing with their dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
Michael enjoys working with patients from different backgrounds with an assortment of impairments. His areas of expertise include: concussion rehabilitation, post operative shoulder, knee, and ankle rehabilitation, athletic rehabilitation, back pain, scoliosis rehabilitation and more. He enjoys treating an array of patients, using a variety of techniques, all while tailoring to their individual needs.
Teresa is a native of the Flathead Valley. After graduating from Flathead High School, she moved to New Jersey in 1991. She met her Husband of 26 years while living in New Jersey. Teresa and her Husband raised two kids- Dalton, 27 and Gillian, 23 in Thompson Falls, Montana. They later moved back to the valley after their daughter went to college, and have resided in the Flathead Valley since. You will typically find Teresa on a run or a walk with her sweet pup Latte, her partner in crime. Teresa and her Husband love to camp, fish, and take their pup for long walks. Teresa loves working in the Physical Therapy field because she gets to see the amazing results patients make from start to finish.
Amy is our Patient Services Representative (aka Receptionist) at the Kalispell clinic location. She moved to Kalispell in 1997 and fell in love with all the beauty and adventures the Flathead Valley has to offer. She and her husband Joe have six children between them, all of them grown and out living their own lives. Two sons and a daughter live in Kalispell, while the other three reside elsewhere in the United States. She has traveled abroad and loves meeting people from all walks of life. Amy has two dogs, Sadie and Stella. In her spare time, she loves to read, sing and play guitar, crochet, and write. She has written many songs; additionally, she has written three books, available on Amazon (and at the Kalispell clinic).
